Once you receive the e-mail with the ticket(s) in PDF format, it is essential that you print them, since at the time of validating them at the entrance they will be exchanged for a lunch ticket and/or a wine tasting wristband.
Cariñena (Carignan in French) is the quintessential grape variety of Porrera. It’s deeply rooted in the area and adapts well to the llicorella or slate soil, grown on old low-yield vines located at different sites and in different microclimates of the rugged terrain of Porrera.
Of the wines being tasted, only a few will become available on the market and in very limited batches, most of them being samples of Cariñena wines that have been especially bottled for the tasting, which will then be blended to create the best wines from the wineries.
