For many centuries the prosperity of the town of Porrera has been associated with the growing of vines.

The legacy of a traditional agriculture cultivating a range of non-irrigated crops, where hard physical work continues to determine the shape, size and scale of its farms, is still very much alive.

The association of Cellers de Porrera is a union between the 22 wineries from our town, in the same way as the old bridge or Pont Vell is the link between all the people of Porrera.
